This band is hot. Very hot. That is quite something. After all, the Blues Company from Osnabrück, Germany is not a bunch of wild youngsters, but a team of seasoned men with a lot of experience and know-how: Blues Company simply stands for the longest-lived and most successful blues band in Germany. After their 2005 coup "The Quiet Side Of Blues Company", where Todorovic and Titre gave their beloved Fender guitars a breather, it's now "Back To The Roots": On Hot And Ready To Serve, Toscho & Co. are back what they have always been known and appreciated for: powerful, modern, guitar-driven blues is served here. As the cover art clearly indicates, this music is a ‘gumbo’, a New Orleans stew, highly nutritious and spicy with all sorts of ingredients that grow and thrive in the blues' great garden. Driving 50s rhythm & blues and boogaloo stand alongside funky music, profound ballads and Tosho's tribute to the great Freddie King. The American film producer and screenwriter Ian Gurvitz, who has already won several awards, knocked on the door of the Blues Company and its record company in autumn 2006: he wanted the song "Blue And Lonesome" from the album "Keepin' The Blues Alive" as the title motif for his film ' LA Blues'. At least that makes it clear: The Blues Company is an international company with an internationally successful product.
