20th Anniversary Concert - Live At Shepherd's Bush Empire
Howard Jones Pop International
Format: DVD Video
Howard Jones, the British singer, pianist, keyboard-player and songwriter, celebrated the 20th birthday of his first hit "New Song” with a spectacular concert: In autumn 2003 the popstar remembered all the stops in his career live in a London theatre. Fans travelled from Australia and the USA to be there. And they received the maximum. Howard Jones had been planning his birthday marathon for a long time and had decided to split the concert into four sections. He began chronologically, with the One-Man-Synthesizer-Show, supported by dancer and pantomime artist Jed Hoile. What an atmosphere: The audience sang along to every verse as if they had rehearsed before. In the acoustic set, Howard Jones shone as an excellent pianist, whom some critics have compared to Keith Emerson. In the last two parts it was back to the typical Howard Jones electronic sound. First, he performed with his current band and played rousing live versions of his classic songs “Just Look At You Now”, “Conditioning” and “All I Want”. The finale and high point was performed by a full rock band, with guests like Nena and Midge Ure, the guitarist from Ultravox. The event took almost three hours and is now available on these two DVDs. 20th Anniversary concert also contains more than 100 minutes of bonus material, such as a detailed interview with the talented entertainer and interviews with members of his band.

A Decade Of The Mad Axeman
Michael Schenker Hard Rock
Format: CD
A Decade Of The Mad Axeman is devoted to the ten years between 2007 and 2016 which saw Michael Schenker burst with musical creativity once more, composing dozens of exceptional songs. Although he worked with many different musicians during this era, all compositions are unmistakably 100% Michael Schenker. 2007 saw Michael Schenker rise like a phoenix from the ashes and return to his musical roots on his new MSG release »In The Midst Of Beauty«. The team consisting of vocalist Gary Barden, with whom Schenker composed all twelve songs on the album, ex-Whitesnake bassist Neil Murray, Toto drummer Simon Phillips and Deep Purple keyboardist Don Airey brought back to life the spirit of the 1980 debut album »Michael Schenker Group«. In 2011 Michael Schenker, an artistically restless musician who continues to redefine himself and his music, put together a new group supported by various guest musicians. Filled with dynamic power, energy and inspiration, Schenker entered a new phase of his life with Temple Of Rock. He himself referred to it as a new level of existence that allowed him to enjoy life more than ever before and to reap the joys of his previous development. He released three studio albums and two live productions under the Temple Of Rock banner. Michael Schenker had succeeded in enlisting two former Scorpions members from the »Lovedrive« era for this new band: Francis Buchholz on bass and Herman Rarebell on drums, as well as erstwhile Rainbow frontman Doogie White and Wayne Findlay on keyboards. Michael Schenker surprised everyone in 2016 with a very special live release, recorded in Tokyo. The outstanding German guitarist had recruited former MSG singer Robin McAuley, Graham Bonnet and Gary Barden for a series of joint performances, as well as his former allies Chris Glen, Steve Mann and Ted McKenna. What Michael Schenker presented live on stage together with this line-up can only be described as a Fest for his fans – which is why he christened this new constellation of musicians the Michael Schenker Fest. Featuring: Don Airey, Gary Barden, Francis Buchholz, Wayne Findlay, Chris Glen, Steve Mann, Robin McAuley, Ted McKenna, Neil Murray, Simon Phillips, Herman Rarebell, Elliott ´Dean` Rubinson, Chris Slade, Brian Tichy, Michael Voss, Pete Way, Doogie White Special Guests: Michael Amott, Graham Bonnet, Rudolf Schenker, Jeff Scott Soto, Leslie West

Ain´t Nothin' But … The Blues Company
Blues Company Blues
Format: CD
They have been on the stage for over 38 years, have performed on more than 4,000 occasions in 14 countries and have released more than 26 albums – these figures highlight the impressive achievements of the Blues Company and demonstrate that the musicians gathered around the mastermind Todor Todorovic have had an enormous influence on the blues in Germany. However, far more impressive than the statistics is the manner in which Todorovic, known by everyone simply as “Tosho”, celebrates the blues with his buddies on stage. Tosho lets the guitar fly with his pieces that bubble with elegance, while his unmistakeable voice gives the songs their distinctive expression. The Blues Company has always been open-minded to new techniques. They were among the audiophile pioneers, who in the late 1980s brought out the first blues CDs, and later the first SACDs and 5.1 surround recordings - so we were the second Blues band in the world. But one thing was still missing in our releases: a live in the studio recording with an audience. The trick with a Silent Concert is that visitors, unlike at normal concerts, do not appreciate the music through a PA, but through headphones. Thus, they are able to receive perfect stereo sound anywhere in the room and can even adjust the volume themselves. However, only a relatively small circle of people can experience this concert enjoyment. For technical reasons, the number of listeners is limited to a maximum of 100. The auditorium was equipped with sofas, chairs, beanbag chairs and floor lamps, and the band did not play on a stage, but rather dispersed in the audience. The sound engineer was able to create an individual in-ear monitor mix at the highest tonal level for each of the musicians involved as well as for the stereo mix for the audience. This culminated in the Blues Company presenting itself at ist very best: with crisp Chicago blues and gentle ballads, with crackling guitar solos and a blasting brass section, with many rock and soul additions, and with highlights from concerts past. The audio recording literally vibrates with vivacity. For the band, as well as for the audience, this was a great, exciting, unforgettable experiment.

Der Eiserne Gustav TV-Serie
Format: DVD Video
Darsteller: Gustav Knuth Eva Brumby Rainer Hunold Volker Lechtenbrink u.v.a
