Sehr direkt aufgenommen und mit hoher Dichte gemixt, erklingt diese CD fast wie ein privates intimes Solo-Konzert von Allan für den Hörer. Allan Taylor schreibt über die CD: "I´m still not ready to record a CD of new songs – maybe this will happen next year – so for the meantime I´ve made a CD of old songs for those people who have waited so long. This CD is simply a collection of songs I occasionally return to, solely because they are a joy to sing play. I decided to record the whole CD with just voice and guitar or voice and piano (played by Lutz Möller), the idea being that it is in fact a short private concert for you. Günter Pauler and Hans-Jörg Maucksch have created such a natural sound on the CD it´s almost as if I´m there in front of the speakers. I could not believe the quality of sound."
