Das US-Label Telarc wurde einst berühmt mit dem Kanonendonner auf der legendären Einspielung von Tschaikowskys 1812-0uvertüre, der 1979 etliche Tonabnehmer aus der Rille warf. Der Smash-Hit ist in Auszügen hier vertreten, aber auch sonst in den schnelllaufenden Rillen kracht's kräftig. Soundeffekte (SFX) wie das krachende Gewitter zu "Chiller" oder die Explosionen in der "Explosions Polka" lassen die Herausgeber im Innenteil des Klappcovers nicht mit rotgedruckten Warnhinweisen sparen. Gut justierte Nadeln laufen aber unfallfrei durch. Ein Höllen-Spektakel und himmlisches Vergnügen, wenn denn die Anlage mitspielt."
