The Referenz LS-1002 has 4 conductors, each with 37 concentrically stranded wires. The cores are arranged in a double symmetrical fashion and specifically configured in the CC-297 design to keep the inductance low and the resistance linear. The larger cable cross-section ensures excellent and controlled bass reproduction and a high level of efficiency. Polyethylene (PE) already boasts excellent electrical properties for audio, video and digital cables. The foaming process creates an air content in this dielectric, which further diminishes any annoying battery-like cable capacitance. The reproduction gains even greater brilliance and spatiality.
